I guess its been about 4 years now that someone mentioned I should write a blog. I literally laughed in his face and said what the heck would I write about. Well here we are 4 years later and im jotting down my first blog. I still think its a silly idea but hey we are living through a pandemic and I probably should of started this, I dunno almost 1 year ago. None the less here we are. Might as well start documenting this crazy life.
First off let me introduce myself. I'm Danielle better known as Dani to my family Mom to my kids and the occasional Sweety Bear ( the name of my husbands dog he gave to his parents) don't even get me started on that one. My Husband is Kyle the loud but often times very quite mastermind behind the ranch and my kids Ella (age 8) the artist and free spirit and Colt my cowboy and daredevil (age 5). We are your not so typical California family. Yup Honey I just said that. Let me repeat it a little louder for you, CALIFORNIA family.
8 years ago we moved to my home state of California and started our little farm with a whopping 2 chickens, 3 dogs, 1 cat and a 1 year old. Now we have cows, chickens, dogs, cats, ducks, turkeys, guinea fowl, sheep, goats, horses and my most favorite of all the animals, pigs.
Life on the ranch is never boring but throw a pandemic in the mix and its the least thing from boring, unless your my kids and then everything is boring lol. Currently I can hear the cows yelling at my neighbors white truck that its dinner time and that he should come feed them RIGHT this second. Silly cows that's not your feed truck.
