Whiskey Mtn Pastures
About Our Ranch

In 2013 my husband and I moved to a small town outside of Camp Pendleton, CA, where we started our first small Ag business selling poultry eggs and live goats.

In 2019 after my husband left the military we started Whiskey Mtn. Pastures. It was both a want to provide for our family in a more self-sustaining way and a desire to provide for both our friends and our community utilizing sustainable and regenerative agricultural practices. Our once small egg and goat operation has turned into something bigger and more family orientated.

Our Animals
Here at Whiskey Mtn Pastures we are into raising a variety of livestock. The animals raised on the the farm are dual purpose, both raised for food consumption as well as companion/ pets.
Chickens is where it all started but soon after our family fell in love with KuneKune pigs then we added some adorable cattle.

Meet the Family
The Watkins Family is a husband and wife duo. Kyle is retired military, and currently working in the AG world. His love for farming and all things animals started at an early age. Though he didn't grow up on a farm he worked and played at the stables where he kept his horses as a child. He later took that love for animals and turned it into something more by graduating with a BS in Animal Science from Oregon State University. Danielle was raised in a beach town in Southern California, though she wasn't brought up on a farm she has a love for animals and is the one bottle feeding any of the animals that need a helping hand. Life on the ranch isn't always easy but we are pretty sure our kids Ella and Colt enjoy the crazy most days.
